If I had a harp and all day to play it, I still wouldn’t be able to harp on enough about this wedding and why I loved it so much. I hand on heart do not believe that I have been around someone who smiles and laughs as much as Blathnaid. I don’t think I’ve ever been around a family, or an extended family at that, who seem to get on and show each other as much love as Blathnaid’s and Nick’s. When you’re around people like this you wish you were in their inner circle. You wish you could finish of your day by saying “See you guys soon” but as Blathanid and Nick live in Australia there ain’t much chance of that happening any time soon. Skype?
You’ve seen the photos but let me just mention a couple of moments that stood out for me from this day.
When I agreed to a cuppa I was made to sit down and then faced with the most amazing spread of food. MASSIVE SCONES!
That walk in the woods.
The dog that decided to bring back a bird as a present. Why thank you!
Watching Blathnaid open a box of ‘treasure’ from her sister that included the very first ever photo of her as a new born baby! It was her very first time seeing the photo!
A ceremony that was filled with so many wonderful moments and a first from a priest who told me to come closer during the vows! #neverhappens!
Having Blathnaid and Nick waving from the bridal suite to my quadcopter which then shot into the sky for some aerial magic!
The photobooth and that dead rubber hand 🙂
The madness that was that dancefloor.
Thank you folks. Can I be in your inner circle?
