Beware – farmers with porridge guns.
I haven’t put up a personal blog in a long, long time. A ton of weddings in the backlog, christmas, new year, visits home, friends coming to visit us, a workshop and more weddings have meant that I just haven’t had the time to really share anything on here in a while. Today though Dee and I decided to down tools and go for a walk in the country. We’d been meaning to do this for a long time but you know what it’s like – you let things get in the way and don’t take time time to do these sorts of things often enough. mind you, it seems like today was the first day in a long time where the sun has been out for long enough to tempt us to go beyond the front door! We looked up the Discover Ireland app to locate local walks and found a nice one just south of Kilkenny City in Tullahought. So we filled up a backpack, fired on the walking boots and off we went. It was beautiful. Muddy, but beautiful. I brought the little Olympus along with me and I’m glad I did as the scenery was just gorgeous!

Sitting on a moss covered rock, eating cold hummus and unleavened bread while watching the cows and horses frolic in the fields - it was a little slice of vegan heaven for you both
