I’ve sat here for a while wondering what to type about Laura and Conor’s day. Some additional insight, some little nugget of info that’ll help tell the story of their day. I mean I could tell you about just how wonderful they treated me from the moment I arrived. How I was given a lovely welcome by both families and at times thought to myself “I really should be photographing things right now rather than chatting with my camera down by my side”. I could tell you about the big plate of croissants and coffee that was forced into me by the bridesmaids to keep my strength up – and everyone knows that croissants are great for that. I could tell you about the most incredible October light that just begged to be photographed – to the point where just as Laura and Conor are about to go in for dinner I grab them for “just one more minute” in that amazing sunlight. Or what about the fact that Conor’s dad surprised Conor (and everyone else for that matter) with the Liam McCarthy Cup during dinner. Really though – there is no point – because I’ll only forget something and that folks is the reason I take photographs. So I don’t miss a thing.
So here it is – in all it’s glory. Laura and Conor’s amazing day at Clonabreany House. Enjoy!
