Get ready to feast your eyes on one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. I came home with full memory cards and a full heart for the people I had the pleasure to be around that day. I don’t think they’ll mind me saying this, but their all bonkers.
With Emma and Joe both being English (with a little bit of Irish in the genes) not many of their crowd had ever attended an Irish wedding before so I’m not sure if they knew this was going to likely go on until 5 in the morning. Pace yourself, right? Wrong. Like greyhounds from the trap, this was a sprint to the finish, even if the finish was hours, upon hours away. I’ll give them this, they had extreme stamina and were going to do down fighting and crying with laughter for most of it. Absolutely brilliant fun.
Emma and Joe, you already know this, but I’m telling you again, you guys are amazing. Joe, I’d kill for your hair (who wouldn’t) and Emma, your flying skills on the dancefloor really were a sight to behold. The likes I’m sure I’ll never see again. What a day I had with you two. Thank you.
So, if you want to feel like a guest at the most fun wedding for the next while, pull that seat up close, maximize your screen, grab a drink and put on some loud music. It’s going to get messy.
