Lucia and Brendan at Durhamstown Castle

Jugglers, hula hoop dancers, balloon swallowing, chairs balancing on chins, a first dance to rival that of Johnny and Baby – well, all that AND a wedding of two of the most gorgeous people you could wish to meet. Lucia and Brendan had the most unreal day at Durhamstown Castle – which by the way is an absolute gem of a place and one which I certainly can’t wait to return to – back in July and thanks to a backlog of epic promotions I’m only getting a chance to blog here for your eyes to feast on. I hope you came with an appetite, this is a big one.

I always knew this day was going to be one to remember. From our initial emails to each other, through the postponements (364 days worth in the end) and finally on the lead up to the day itself, every little bit of communication I had with them cemented in me a belief that this was going to be a wedding that truly showcased who and what they about, what made them crazy about each other, what family means to them, music, fun a lot of crazy and some epic dancing. What more could any photographer wish to be around for day? Perfection.

Lucia and Brendan, if you were beside me right now I’d give you that hug that I couldn’t back in July and I wouldn’t be first to let go. What a day you gave us all and I am so thankful you asked me to be there.
