Frankie and Geraldine at The Millhouse
Hello again. It’s been some time since my last blog! Sorry I was busy getting married and then driving Route 66 on the most incredible honeymoon. I’ll save that story for another day though because this blog is all about the awesome couple Frankie and Geraldine and their amazing day at one of my favourite wedding venues in Ireland. The Millhouse in Slane. And what a day they got. Stunning blue skies and soft glorious sunshine which really is the icing on the cake for a setting like this.
I’d never met Frankie and Geraldine until the wedding day as they both live in Brisbane, Australia and we had done the majority of our communication through emails and the phone. One thing that I sensed on them right away was just how laid back they both are. Nothing prepared me though for how great these guys are in the flesh. They are so warm and welcoming. Both full of smiles, love a good chat and you could tell that they were both so super excited about what this day would bring.
Everything took place on site at the Millhouse from getting ready in the morning in the main house, the ceremony in the old mill and onto the crazy dancing the wee hours over in the main reception room.
From start to finish this was a wedding that I loved for so many reasons but hanging with these guys for a day was just the best. Massive congratulations to Frankie and Geraldine on their big day and thank you so much for having me there to record it for you.
