NYC – Day 1

This post is going to be short and sweet.

I’ve arrived in New York for my one week break away and first port of call was B&H. I got the camera I’d been after for quite some time, the Panasonic GF-2. Unfortuately they didn’t have the lens I wanted (the 20mm 1.7)  in stock so I settled for the kit lens for now (14-42mm 3.5). I’m still trying to get used to it and this lens isn’t great with low light but I’ll get the 20mm in time.

I tested it out on a beautiful walk along the High Line (read about the amazing High Line here) and this was the best shot I got.

I love walking on the High Line – there is so much life going on around you and not to mention pretty amazing views of the city.

I’ll try and post a shot a day while I’m here. So for now, I love NY and over and out.

Gorgeous shot, as always! It says a thousand words ;-)
