Hi, I'm David, and I really want to be your wedding photographer. I want to come into your lives for just a day and document your world.
I want to be a witness to all of the amazing moments, the quiet moments and the crazy moments. Weddings have them all. From those head-tilting roars of laughter to the silent exchanges that speak volumes, the moments where every time you walk into a room you'll hear cheers. The moments when you’re so overcome with emotion that only tears will do, for the happiest reasons and sometimes, for the saddest reasons. I want to be there to capture the moment when those tears are wiped away and smiles are born. The moments when you reach for each other's hands for that little bit of courage or to encourage. The moments when you look into each other eyes during a ceremony and think to yourselves - this is it. We’re doing it! The moment of that kiss. That hug.
The truth is, there are way too many incredible moments to mention and every wedding is unique. Yours will be no different, yet totally different. These will be YOUR moments and I am there to bear witness to them all.
Your world for a day, and I would love to capture it for you in the most honest way I know. Through unposed, unscripted, undirected, moment-driven photographs.
I WANT TO FEEL SOMETHING, STRONGLY.
I am emotionally driven and it's that very emotion that burns brightest in me when I'm making photographs. I'm always looking for photographs that are going to make me feel something but more importantly, make you feel something. Beautiful is easy. Cool is easy, but capturing a feeling that makes the heart skip a beat or stops you in your tracks is difficult and it needs to come from somewhere real. My reasons for this are long and come from a place of past experience which I'd be more than happy to talk to you about face to face but for now, I'll say this. When you eventually sit down to look at your wedding photographs for the first time, I'll want most of all, for you to feel something, strongly.
WHAT I'D LOVE
I’d love it if you could take the time to watch the video below, preferably, right the way to the end. This is a collection of just one year's work. Some of the shots in this video are incredibly emotional to the people involved, but that's what photography is about - it's about capturing real moments, with real raw undiluted emotion. They don't always have to be pretty - they only need to be real and it's that realness that makes me want to take a photo so the moment can be relived again and again.
So what I hope this slideshow does is that gives you some insight into my year, what I’ve witnessed, the many incredible faces, and most importantly, the undeniable love between human beings.

Sure! I have a portfolio page that you can view at the link below with a sample of some recent work. Every gallery is show in it's entirety. Exactly what the couple received, from Start to finish and shown in the order that they were taken.

—WE'RE NOT BIG FAN'S OF PUBLIC DISPLAY'S OF AFFECTION. DO WE HAVE TO HAVE A COUPLE SHOOT ON OUR DAY?
Not at all. Believe it or not, the concept of coupe shoots is relatively new. Ask your parents what their couple shoot was like and they'll probably give you a very confused look. This is your wedding and if you don't wish to have a couple shoot during the day then that's entirely your call. You'll get to spent more time enjoying your party and I'll get to spend more time documenting your friends and family. It's a win win.
At some point of the day I'll definitely get a shot of just the two of you - it just doesn't need to be taken during a couple shoot.
— WHAT DOES A FULL DAY SHOOT ENTAIL?
I very rarely shoot a wedding that is less than 12 hours of coverage. As you know, weddings start early and finish late and I love being there to capture as much of your story as I can. This is a once in a lifetime event for you so I want to do it right and make sure that I give you everything I’ve got. I want to make sure that when these photographs are looked at time and time again as they years go by that you’ll know your hard earned money was well spent. If you’re getting ready 3 or 4 hours before the ceremony and you want me there, I’ll be there. It’s as simple as that. I won’t shoot you pretending you have your makeup done or your hair fixed because I’ll have been there to see it happen and have captured it for real in the first place. Everything you see on my blog is real. Nothing is staged, it’s shot as it happened in the moment.
— CAN I CHANGE MY PACKAGE OPTION AT A LATER DATE?
Absolutely. A lot of people will upgrade as it gets closer to your day. The packages are there to guide you on the most common options.
— CAN I PRINT MY OWN PHOTOGRAPHS?
Yes, you can - Should you wish you can download the files and use your own printer or take them to a high street printer. There is also the option of ordering prints directly from your slideshow from Loxley labs who I've partnered with to offer professional grade quality prints.
— HOW LONG WILL MY SLIDESHOW REMAIN ACTIVE?
It will never expire.
— DO YOU TAKE posed FAMILY and friends GROUP SHOTS?
100% I do. They're super important and I take them at every single wedding.
— HOW DO WE SECURE THE DATE WITH YOU?
Once a deposit of €500 is paid then your date is set in stone in my calendar and removed from any availability to others. Until the deposit is paid then the date is open to others to book.
— DO YOU HAVE BACKUP EQUIPMENT AND CARRY INSURANCE?
I certainly do.
—CAN I GET A WEDDING ALBUM?
Yes you can. They come in 3 different sizes.
Smaller 8x8 albums which are suitable for parent books.
Standard 10x10 inch book
Larger Premium 12x12 inch book.
They all come with 25 spreads as standard. You can also design your own album directly from your gallery storefront. It gives you complete control to create an album that’s uniquely yours, which I know many of my couples have really enjoyed doing.
