Weddings like this are my absolute favourite and here’s a spoiler. It has nothing to do with the amazing weather or the beautiful setting, it’s all to do with the people you see in these images. These people are pure salt of the earth folk. The kind of folk who, when you first meet them, for some weird reason they actually seem familiar because you have this instant connection.
Anyone who knows me or my work will know all to well that what i love to shoot is people, so when people are just themselves and laugh loud, hug hard, shed tears when they can’t do anything but and wear their heart on their sleeves for all to see, it’s a beautiful thing. All I have to do is point the camera and click. It’s as honest and as real as it gets. And this is exactly what Ruth and Allen’s day was all about. Top to bottom, start to finish. They welcomed me in and stayed true.
That is all I ever ask.

I worked with the one and only Martin Healy at this wedding and I can’t recommend him more. Not only is he one of the nicest guys you could meet but his work is truly beautiful.
