best of 2024 (best feels of 2024)

2024. Another year over. Before 2025 kicks off and as is tradition around here I’ve taken some time to look back on the whirlwind that was last year. After spending over a week looking back through over 45000 images, a collection of incredible stories, countless connections, and moments I’ve been reminded over and over again why I still love being a wedding photographer.

This exercise is never about just picking the “best” shot because really, there is no best. Instead, this is a collection of moments that jumped out made me feel something. They either put a smile on my face, gave me a giggle or gave me a jolt right in the chest for reasons I can’t quite put into words. Some images just carry a weight of their own.

2024 wasn’t just about amazing venues or a perfectly timed sunset (though there were a few a those for sure – and rain – lots and lots of rain). It was about people. Their crazy energy. Their willingness to let loose, to be themselves and to be fully present with those they love most. Those are the moments that stick with me, the ones I’m so grateful to have been there for.

To all the couples who trusted me to be part of your story this year — thank you. You all brought something unique and unforgettable. You made 2024 more than just another year. And to those of you planning your own celebrations for 2025 and beyond, I can’t wait to see what your story looks like.
